TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Brockton, Massachusetts, 02301!

Job Title

RN – Medical Surgical / Telemetry, Float Pool

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Day Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple Medical Surgical / Telemetry units as part of a float pool assignment
• Independently read and interpret telemetry strips; must pass an on-site telemetry exam on Day 1 with a score of 84% or better (two attempts allowed)
• Adapt quickly to varying unit environments, patient populations, and workflows across up to 5 different MedSurg/Tele units
• Administer and manage IV therapy in accordance with facility protocols
• Most Fridays will be expected; extended time-off requests and specific schedule requests are not accommodated in this role

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• 2+ years of recent acute care experience
• Proficiency with Meditech and EPIC electronic health record systems
• Ability to independently read telemetry strips
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be considered at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3–5 years of nursing experience with prior float pool experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to multiple unit types and patient care settings
