At MassageLuXe, you can focus on what you do best — providing exceptional massage therapy — while our team helps with scheduling, guest service, marketing, membership sales, laundry, supplies, and other administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

As a MassageLuXe Licensed Massage Therapist, you will:

• Provide professional, customized massage therapy based on each guest's individual needs and preferences
• Conduct consultations with guests to identify areas of concern, pressure preferences, and treatment goals
• Perform massage modalities within your training, certification, and scope of practice
• Modify massage techniques and pressure based on guest feedback and individual needs
• Educate guests on the benefits of regular massage therapy and appropriate self-care
• Recommend future massage sessions and available enhancements when appropriate
• Build professional relationships with guests that encourage repeat visits and long-term wellness
• Maintain accurate and appropriate guest treatment notes
• Prepare and maintain a clean, comfortable, and professional treatment room
• Follow all MassageLuXe protocols as well as applicable state sanitation, safety, and licensing requirements
• Maintain professional boundaries and the highest standards of guest care
• Work collaboratively with fellow massage therapists, estheticians, front desk staff, and management to provide an exceptional spa experience

Massage Modalities

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:

• Swedish Massage
• Deep Tissue Massage
• Therapeutic Massage
• Trigger Point Therapy
• Prenatal Massage
• Sports Massage
• Hot Stone Massage
• Other specialized massage techniques

Additional training and certifications are always welcomed.

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina Massage/Bodywork Therapist License required
• Graduate of an accredited or approved massage therapy program
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, contraindications, and massage therapy techniques
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to provide consistently professional massage services
• Ability to perform multiple massage sessions during a scheduled shift
• Experienced therapists and newly licensed therapists are encouraged to apply

Schedule

We are currently considering candidates for full-time and part-time positions .

Scheduling opportunities may include:

• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Weekend shifts
• Flexible schedules based on therapist availability and spa needs

We understand that massage therapy is physically demanding and believe in creating schedules that allow therapists to provide excellent service while maintaining a sustainable workload.

Experience

• Massage Therapy: Experience preferred, but newly licensed therapists are encouraged to apply
• Customer Service: Preferred
• Experience in a spa, wellness center, chiropractic office, or similar environment is a plus

License/Certification

Valid South Carolina Massage/Bodywork Therapist License – Required
