We are seeking a motivated and responsible OTR Box Truck Driver with a clean driving record to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck for over-the-road deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of freight across various routes. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck on over-the-road routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking manual transmission systems and refrigeration units when applicable
• Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries, maintaining communication with dispatch for updates or route adjustments
• Secure cargo properly using appropriate equipment such as straps or load bars to prevent shifting during transit
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery receipts, logs, and inspection reports
• Maintain a clean driving record by practicing safe driving habits and following company policies

Experience

• Proven experience as a commercial driver with a focus on truck driving or delivery routes
• Prior experience with route driving, load & unload procedures, and freight handling is highly preferred
• Ability to operate additional equipment like pallet jacks when necessary for loading or unloading freight
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo securement techniques
• Valid Class C or higher license with a clean driving record is required
