• Process medication refill requests according to established clinical protocols
• Review patient records to verify medications, dosages, allergies, diagnoses, and pharmacy information
• Assist with prior authorizations and specialty medication documentation
• Communicate with pharmacies regarding prescriptions, refill status, and clarifications
• Contact patients when additional information is needed to complete refill or authorization requests
• Document all activities accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Escalate medication-related concerns to the appropriate clinical staff
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and support staff to ensure timely patient care

• Medical Assistant Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a medical office
• Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Experience with medication refills, prior authorizations, or prescription processing is highly preferred

This position is fully on-site in Lakewood, Colorado. You'll work in a fast-paced, professional healthcare setting focused on providing exceptional patient support and ensuring safe, efficient medication management.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakewood, CO.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
