Paramus High School Effective Dates: 2026-27 School Year Employment Terms: Full-time position; 12 months Tenure track Medical, dental, vision, prescription benefits offered Reports To: Principal and/or Building Supervisor/Custodian Second Shift Supervisor/Assistant Director of Buildings and Grounds

Job Goal(s): To provide reliable custodial services in accordance with the district's health and regulatory standards to keep school buildings clean, safe, and welcome for the entire school community.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of functional capacity exam and drug and alcohol screening.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in custodial and light maintenance work.
• Demonstrated aptitude for successful fulfillment of assigned performance responsibilities.
• Possess a Black Seal Firemen's License for boiler operation or is willing to obtain license within one year of employment.
• Possess a valid Motor Vehicle Driver's License.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Salary: Starting salary of $57,206 Placement on the salary guide, Paramus Public School Association of Custodian and Maintenance Workers (PPSACW)
