We're seeking a Warehouse Associate for a premier industrial manufacturer in the Swedesboro NJ area.

Shift/Pay

7:00AM - 3:30PM@ Monday-Friday (Must be open for OT Saturday)

$19.50 pay increases once direct

Job Description

This role focuses on accurately pulling parts, fulfilling orders, and maintaining inventory within a fast-paced warehouse and production environment. You will use computer systems to process orders, handle parts, and support assembly operations while following safety procedures and meeting productivity expectations.

Responsibilities

• Pull parts accurately from shelves and storage locations to fulfill customer and internal orders.
• Perform order fulfillment tasks, including picking, staging, and preparing parts for delivery to the shop and production areas.
• Maintain inventory by counting, recording, and organizing parts and materials in the warehouse.
• Use computer systems to look up parts, process orders, and update inventory records.
• Lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily warehouse and production activities.
• Retrieve items from shelves above shoulder height safely and efficiently.
• Support assembly and production operations by ensuring parts are delivered to the appropriate workstations on time.
• Work continuously within the normal work area, leaving only for formal break times.
• Follow all safety policies and wear OSHA-approved personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking, inventory tracking, and order fulfillment.
• Adhere to regular and punctual attendance requirements and be available to work overtime, including Saturdays, as needed.
• Adapt to changes in shift start times and weekend work based on production and operational demands.

Skills

• Previous warehouse experience in a production or distribution environment.
• Hands-on experience pulling parts and picking orders.
• Experience in inventory handling, including organizing and tracking parts and materials.
• Basic computer literacy to navigate systems for order processing and inventory updates.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly during the workday.
• Ability to pull items from shelves above shoulder height.
• Comfort working in a production and warehouse environment with exposure to chemicals, oils, greases, solvents, and cleaners.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in parts picking and inventory control.
• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to meet attendance expectations and work overtime as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working as a picker in a warehouse or parts environment.
• Familiarity with assembly or production operations and supporting shop environments.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety and operational procedures.
• Willingness to adjust to different shift schedules, including early start times and Saturday work.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse and production setting within an assembly plant. You work primarily in the normal work area, leaving only for scheduled breaks, and you regularly deliver parts to a shop environment where chemicals used in wash and paint processes, as well as oils, greases, solvents, and cleaners, may be present. g.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swedesboro, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
