Line Service Specialist (PT)

Flight Line Team Member

The Flight Line team at San Carlos Flight Center is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented team member to join our team. The Flight Line team is responsible for ensuring that all aircraft are kept in the best possible condition at all times, providing a safe and comfortable experience for our pilots and passengers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for aviation and customer service, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of the fleet to identify and address any issues
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all aircraft are airworthy and safe to fly
• Keep the interiors and exteriors of the aircraft clean and presentable, including washing the aircraft, polishing the exterior, and vacuuming the interiors
• Restock the aircraft with supplies as needed
• Ensure that all fleet aircraft are in the right parking spots, and secured with ropes
• Perform exterior washes and waxes of aircraft
• Clean the interiors of aircraft, including removal of garbage left inside
• Replace the cleaning materials inside aircraft
• Verify the presence of current checklists in all aircraft
• Prepare for barbecues and other SCFC events
• Help member pilots at the aircraft
• Maintain ramp cleanliness and safety

Requirements:

• Passion for aviation and customer service
• Excellent attention to detail and dedication to excellence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand, bend, and reach
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
• Must be able to live and work in the United States, and able to commute to San Carlos for work
• Aviation experience is a plus, but not required
• Fluent in English, able to communicate clearly with pilots and mechanics
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Hours and Schedule:

• Part time
• As agreed upon with supervisor

Compensation:

• $19/hour
