Sr. Payroll Administrator

Pay Range $53.18/hr - $53.55/hr

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Sr. Payroll Administrator to assist with managing end-to-end payroll processing for employees across the United States and Canada.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ADP and Workday, a strong understanding of multi-state and provincial payroll regulations, and a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and exceptional service.

Requirement/Must Have:

• 5–10+ years of payroll experience, including U.S. and Canadian payroll processing.
• Proficiency with ADP (Workforce Now or similar) and Workday payroll modules.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal/state and Canadian federal/provincial payroll laws.
• Experience with multi-state and multi-province payroll.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• CPP or FPC certification is a plus (U.S. or Canadian).

Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll for U.S. and Canadian employees using ADP and Workday.
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and special payments.
• Validate timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies with managers or employees.
• Maintain payroll schedules, deadlines, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state, provincial, and local laws in both the U.S. and Canada.
• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, including year-end documents such as W-2s, T4s, and ROEs.
• Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Stay current on regulatory changes affecting payroll operations.
• Maintain employee records in Workday and ADP, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with system updates, testing, and troubleshooting payroll-related issues.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure data integrity across systems.
• Respond to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, taxes, and payroll policies.
• Provide guidance on payroll processes and escalate complex issues when needed.
