• Monday-Sunday
• Shift: 8:00 AM-8:00 PM
• Approximately 20 Shifts Per Month
• Provider Will Rotate Between Multiple Urgent Care Locations
• Locations Are Within Approximately 30 Miles of Each Other
• No Call

• Patient Population: All Ages, Including Pediatrics Age 6 Months+
• Approximately 80% Adults / 20% Pediatrics
• Average Volume: Approximately 3-4 Patients Per Hour

• Provide Outpatient Urgent Care Services
• Evaluate and Treat Common Acute Illnesses and Minor Injuries
• Treat Cold and Flu Symptoms
• Evaluate and Treat Rashes and Abrasions
• Manage Sprains and Minor Burns
• Perform Wound Care
• Perform Suturing
• Perform Incision and Drainage
• Perform Splinting and Other Basic Orthopedic Procedures
• Interpret X-Rays and EKGs
• Perform Blood Draws and Start IVs
• Provide Pediatric Urgent Care
• Refer Higher-Acuity Patients to the Emergency Department
• Work Independently Without Onsite Supervision

• Medical Assistants Available Onsite
• Radiology Technicians Available Onsite
• Sites Typically Staffed With 1-3 Providers Per Day
• Provider Must Be Comfortable Working Independently
• If a Physician Is Not Onsite, a Physician Will Be Remotely Available for Escalation

• Board Certified - Required
• At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Urgent Care - Required
• Active West Virginia License - Required at Time of Application
• IMLC Not Accepted
• DEA Registration - Required
• West Virginia CSR License - Required
• ACLS - Required
• BLS - Required
• PALS - Required
• Minimum of 2 Years of Urgent Care Experience OR 1 Year of Emergency Medicine Experience - Required
• Must Be Comfortable Treating Patients of All Ages, Including Pediatrics Age 6 Months+
• Must Be Comfortable With Orthopedic Procedures, Including Splinting
• Must Be Comfortable With Wound Care
• Epic Experience - Required

• Must Confirm Provider Comfort With Suturing, Wound Care, and Incision and Drainage
• Must Confirm Provider Comfort With Splinting
• Must Confirm Provider Comfort With X-Rays and EKGs
• Must Confirm Provider Comfort With Blood Draws and IVs
• Must Confirm Provider Comfort Working Independently
• Must Confirm Provider Comfort Treating Pediatric Patients
