Shift: 3x12 Hour Nights Shifts 

• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Willingness to float to other MS-Tele units/campuses (Bucyrus & Galion) as needed to maintain hours when census drops

Unit Details:

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Unit
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5

Requirements:

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent consecutive Med Surg experience in a hospital/acute care setting required
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• Travel nursing experience required (No first-time travelers)

⭐ Preferred:

• Strong flexibility with floating assignments
• Minimal or no requested time off during assignment

Required Skills:

• Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry monitoring
• IV starts and IV management
• Medication scanning proficiency

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Multidisciplinary patient care coordination

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions

• Administer medications utilizing barcode medication scanning systems
• Perform IV starts and maintain vascular access

• Utilize telemetry monitoring and respond to rhythm changes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Float to designated campuses as needed to support staffing requirements

• Participate in on-call coverage and respond within required timeframe
• Deliver safe, high-quality patient-centered care
