Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology / Neuro Interventional Radiology

Location

Syracuse, NY

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 10-hour shifts | 40 hours per week | 16-week contract | Onsite | Rotational call, weekend call, and holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to endovascular patients within a Neuro Interventional Radiology setting
• Assist with and support procedures including angiograms, stroke interventions, carotid stents, and aneurysm treatments
• Monitor and assess neurological status of patients using established clinical protocols
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using EPIC EMR
• Participate in rotational on-call coverage including weekends and assigned holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Neuro ICU experience
• NIHSS certification
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Neuro IR lab setting
• Prior radiology nursing experience
• Experience in an IR or Cath Lab environment
