Description
American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with 1-3 years of clinical experience across all modalities for a hospital-based oncology role.
Details
- Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department
- Monday through Friday day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved radiation therapy technology program
- 1-3 years of clinical experience in all modalities as a radiation therapist
- Experience at a comparable facility size, including 500+ bed count experience for large academic centers
- License required if applicable
- Active licensure required for consideration
- One professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assist in tumor localization, treatment planning, and delivery of prescribed radiation doses
- Serve as the primary liaison between patients and the radiation oncology team
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers such as social workers and dieticians
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate for most locations
