Google Cloud / Databricks Forward Deployed Engineer in Wealth and Asset Management Sia is a global management consulting group founded in 1999. The AI & Data Business Unit focuses on Data Science and Generative AI solutions. The role is embedded as a bridge between Google’s frontier AI products and real‑world AI production systems in Asset and Wealth Management (AWM). Core Responsibilities Customer Embedding: Act as a technical partner onsite or remotely to drive AI adoption. PoC / Pilot: Rapidly prototype from ideation to pilot. Productionizing AI: Develop, debug, and deploy Generative AI applications (e.g., agentic workflows, RAG systems, MCP servers) using Python. Integration and Coding: Architect solutions that connect Google AI products with client legacy infrastructure, APIs, and databases. High‑Impact Troubleshooting: Resolve complex blockers to production, including data readiness, model latency, and system evaluation. Qualifications 7+ years in a technical, customer‑facing role (e.g., FDE, Solutions Engineer, SRE, Software Engineer). Strong proficiency in Python and experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph). Experience with API development, vector databases, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG); experience with Google Gemini Enterprise Platform and Google data services (e.g., BigQuery). Data platform knowledge: Databricks Delta Lake and other parts of the Databricks stack. Agent building: Experience with agent technologies (e.g., ADK, A2A, MCP), agent ontologies, and memory management. WAM: 5+ years of Wealth / Asset Management experience. Problem solving: High agency, ability to operate under ambiguity, and a product mindset. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Google Cloud products. Experience implementing multi‑agent systems and advanced prompt engineering. Competitive Compensation Annual Base Salary Range: $135,000 – $147,000, commensurate with experience.
