This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility in Cave Spring, Georgia. Your schedule will primarily consist of regular business hours, although there may be occasional on-call responsibilities and weekend duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations and provide comprehensive treatment for patients, utilizing advanced diagnostic skills and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate effectively with case management teams to ensure seamless discharge planning for patients, enhancing their transition to home care.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives aimed at elevating the standard of care while ensuring cost-effectiveness in service delivery.
• Act as a consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization for various primary medical diagnoses, ensuring their medical needs are addressed with compassion and expertise.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately to meet insurance requirements, including timely appeals for any denial of coverage.
• Participate in both inpatient and outpatient consultations within specialty care settings, which may include involvement in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in urgent care or comparable settings.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
