Dental Receptionist

Southern Arizona Endodontics is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming and positive experience while helping ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our practice.

We are a large, emergency-based dental group with four locations, committed to providing exceptional care to every patient we serve. Our teams work collaboratively across our practices to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Schedule: Full Time, 4 days/ approx. 9-10 hours per day

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
• Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
• Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year customer service, healthcare, scheduling or patient-facing experience

Preferred Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Experience with dental practice management software
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures

The pay range for this role is $16.50-$18.00 per hour.
