Sioux City Truck & Trailer is looking for a motivated individual to fill an open position of Parts Delivery Driver. The successful candidate must be highly motivated with previous experience. The Parts Delivery Driver plays a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the right automotive parts and equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities:

• Delivery of Parts: Safely and efficiently transport parts, equipment, and supplies to designated customer locations.
• Loading and Unloading: Load and unload parts and supplies onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are secured and protected during transit.
• Route Planning: Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency, minimize travel time, and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by delivering parts with a friendly and professional demeanor. Answer customer questions and address their needs.
• Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies or shortages to the appropriate personnel.
• Documentation: Complete delivery receipts, invoices, and any required paperwork accurately and promptly. Ensure proper documentation of deliveries and returns.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and fuel levels. Report any vehicle issues promptly.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Follow proper safety protocols, especially when handling hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.
• Excellent map reading and navigation skills. Familiarity with GPS devices is a plus.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and equipment (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
