Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Salary: $60-65 per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join a team in Alameda, CA. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients with speech, language, and communication disorders. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $60-65 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the nature and severity of speech, language, and communication disorders in clients

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and client needs

- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve clients' speech, language, and communication skills

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to develop and implement treatment plans

- Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate clients and their families on strategies to improve speech, language, and communication skills at home and in other settings

- Stay current with new research, techniques, and developments in the field of speech-language pathology

- Maintain accurate and timely records of client evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing information

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of California

- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist

- Experience working with a diverse population and a variety of communication disorders

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Proficient in using technology for documentation and communication purposes
