Staff Accountant (Hybrid) Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year Benefits: 401(k) match at 2% Medical/Dental/Vision coverage Strong PTO (15 days) and paid holiday package (11 days) Room for growth Good working culture Hybrid work model Annual bonus Short-term and long-term disability coverage Responsibilities Oversee all property accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliation, and general ledger management. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Utilize Yardi software for property management accounting and reporting. Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial data and reports. Collaborate with other finance team members to streamline accounting processes and procedures. Comply with all federal, state, and local legal requirements, studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence, and advising management on needed actions. Assist with annual audits and provide necessary information to external auditors. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting or a similar role. Proficiency in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and general ledger management. Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Extensive experience with accounts payable and receivable. Proficiency in Yardi software. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
