We are seeking a highly qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team for a 6-month contract starting August 17, 2026, with an end date of February 19, 2027. The position requires full-time availability, with shifts primarily scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and flexibility to accommodate no consecutive days and floating between locations. The provider must be able to license under a Compact license and have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience—new graduates are not eligible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia services across a variety of departments including general, ortho, gyn, ENT/eyes, vascular, thoracic, heart, neuro, trauma, IR, EP, ENDO, and MRI.
• Cover 4-5 shifts per month, with patient volume of over 60 cases daily.
• Work with advanced equipment such as Drager anesthesia machines and Philips monitoring systems.
• Experience with hearts, vascular, neuro, and pediatrics is preferred but not mandatory for all cases at Moses Cone.
• Must be able to float between locations and handle diverse patient populations.

Requirements:

• Board Certified CRNA
• Current North Carolina State License (no licensing for other states)
• Valid ACLS and PALS certifications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
• No new graduates; minimum of 1-2 years experience required

Work Details:

• Full-time, 8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:00)
• Working at Moses Cone main location with coverage at additional NORA locations
• Must be flexible and willing to float as needed
• EMR System: EPIC
• Special Equipment: Drager anesthesia machine, Philips monitoring

Compensation:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $214.50
• Overtime (OT): $1.5x normal rate after shift worked; OT hours are not guaranteed and shifts may be canceled at any time.
• Holiday Pay: $321.75 per hour (1.5x rate) for designated holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
