RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts on Neuro/Ortho Med Surg Telemetry unit
/n• 12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week (3x12 schedule)
/n• Patient ratio of 1:6
/n• Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday)
/n• 6 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule
/n• Float to any unit except ICU, SDU, and ED as needed
/n• No on-call requirements
/n• 2+ years of nursing experience preferred, first-time travelers accepted
/n• Required certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
/n• Navy scrubs required
/n• EPIC charting system
/n• Free parking available
/n• 38 hours of orientation provided
/n• Care for adult patients with orthopedic, neurology, medical/surgical, and stroke diagnoses
/n• Experience required with CVA care, isolation precautions/PPE, PCA, PICC line management, IV starts and maintenance, telemetry monitoring, and total joint replacement care
/n• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed during 13-week contract
/n• Missouri license or compact state license required
/n• Must live outside 75-mile radius
