# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Texas**Start Date:** August 24, 2026 **Location:** Southeast Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Emergency Department, 4 weekend shifts per month, 4:1 patient ratio, no on-call required**Highlights:** - 28-bed Emergency Department in a dedicated ED unit - Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge nurse, unit secretary, and tech support on every shift - EMR system: Meditech - Typical procedures include IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, EKG, and other emergency care interventions - Structured staffing model with consistent ratios and team support - Candidates available to start on or before September 7, 2026 may be eligible for additional compensation**Requirements:** - Active Texas RN license or compact state license - Acute Emergency Room experience required (non-negotiable) - Current certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS - Trauma experience preferred - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This Emergency Department role offers the chance to work with a well-staffed, collaborative team in a busy acute care setting.
