Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Chemist to support chemical process control, product quality, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining plating and anodizing process chemistry, performing laboratory testing and analysis, documenting results, supporting wastewater treatment operations, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The Chemist works closely with operations to maintain consistent production quality while identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform titrations and other laboratory analyses to maintain plating, anodizing, and wastewater treatment chemistry.
• Prepare, test, analyze, and document chemical solutions and laboratory results.
• Monitor process baths and make chemical additions to maintain target specifications.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical testing on organic and inorganic compounds.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records, and laboratory inventory.
• Support chemical inventory management and SDS/MSDS documentation.
• Assist with batch tank operations and support plastic plating line activities.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to operations leadership.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency and product quality.

Required Experience

• Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment performing chemical analysis.
• Experience conducting laboratory testing, documenting results, and maintaining accurate records.
• Experience following laboratory safety and quality procedures.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Experience supporting plating, anodizing, or surface finishing operations.
• Experience with wastewater treatment systems.
• Experience using spectrometry or chromatography equipment.
• Experience in an AS9100 or other regulated manufacturing environment.
