This position will report to the Vice President of Optometric Services.This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice.Pay range: $XX-$XX/yrJob ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality care and service by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needsExamine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary proceduresProvide comprehensive professional vision treatment plans to help them achieve optimal vision health, using accepted clinical and diagnostic techniquesBuild a community within the practice that fosters teammate satisfaction and retention by developing strategies to achieve organizational goals, being available to staff, accepting feedback from others, developing subordinates' skills, and encouraging growthArrange for referral to vision specialists when appropriatePrepare a doctor case file including medical history, informing patients on general care and health of eyes at regular time intervals, and staying informed on the latest vision treatment techniquesJob QualificationsState optometry license in good standingStrong interest in working with childrenAbility to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI numberAttention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workloadAbility to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on timeIn addition to the job description, you will be asked to perform other duties that support the business and our mission.Physical RequirementsThis position requires full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk and stand, bend, communicate verbally (both in person and by telephone), use hands repetitively to handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds.Work EnvironmentWork is performed in a standard clinical environment.
