Location: Minot, ND / Baton Rouge, LA

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 6 months (Minot), Permanent (Baton Rouge)

Shift: Support staff support; 7 days on / 7 days off (Minot); flexible schedule (Baton Rouge)

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8 am5 pm, with weekend calls (Minot); inpatient and outpatient coverage (Baton Rouge)

Hours/Week: Varies

Licenses/Certs: Board Certified Gastroenterology, State License (IMLC preferred for ND), Louisiana License for Baton Rouge

Experience: Required: Certification in Gastroenterology; preferred experience with colonoscopy, EGD, sigmoidoscopy

Pay & Benefits

Rate: $600/hour (Minot); compensation details for Baton Rouge negotiable

Weekend Call: $5,000/day (up to 4 hours onsite); $650/night

Night Call: $650/night

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care including colonoscopy, EGD, sigmoidoscopy
• Support inpatient and outpatient procedures aligned with specialization
• Manage acute and chronic GI cases with a focus on patient safety and quality care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing and advanced practice providers
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and standards
• Participate in on-call duties (Minot) and emergency procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems (Cerner for Minot)

What You Need

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology
• State medical license (IMLC preferred for ND; active license for LA)
• DEA certification
• 1+ years of experience preferred
• Strong procedural skills (colonoscopy, EGD, sigmoidoscopy)
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
