The Startup Operation members (SET Ops) acts as a setup consultant and handles all aspects of new Dedicated Transportation Solutions business startups along with ongoing support of Field Operations. This includes both driver and manager training for basic system operations and often includes aiding and functioning in the expected role. As such, the ability to prioritize work-tasks and manage the day-to-day task items are requirements of this position. Additionally, the team engages and takes part in the writing of process documents, system testing, and even design-level consulting for new pieces of the product. Travel is extensive for this role and is expected to be around 75-80%. You will not be able to travel back and forth to your home location during that time. Strong organization, analytical, and computer skills. Ability to effectively manage Profit & Loss statements may be necessary depending on the complexity and scope of the operation (preferred). Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required. Logistics industry knowledge advanced required Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations. Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components.
