Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (10:30 AM - 9:00 PM) with rotating days off. Call coverage required 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks. Weekend coverage includes 2 shifts per contract.

Highlights:

• 91-day travel assignment at a busy 14-room operating room with daily census of 45
• Diverse surgical case mix including orthopedic, general, neurological, vascular, and urological procedures
• Exposure to advanced robotic surgery platforms including DaVinci systems across multiple specialties
• Trauma Level I experience in a dynamic surgical environment
• Epic charting system for streamlined documentation
• Minimal call requirements with excellent work-life balance

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (state or compact) required at time of application
• Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience, with at least 1.5 years preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Required experience in orthopedic, general, neurological, vascular, and urological surgical procedures
• Current BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Preferred: Experience with DaVinci robotic surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmic cases
• Patient ratio experience of 1:1
• Must reside outside of designated local counties per facility requirements
