Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Position

Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position in southern San Jose, California. The role supports patients of all ages, delivering evidence-based therapy within a collaborative healthcare team. Candidates can grow their clinical practice while making a meaningful impact on patient independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to determine speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physician recommendations and family goals
• Administer evidence-based speech-language interventions
• Complete thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress
• Monitor outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and staff on treatment plans and techniques
• Assist patients in achieving functional communication and independence
• Maintain efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care
• Assist with orientation and mentoring of new employees and volunteers
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals
• Adhere to hospital safety policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines
• Demonstrate age-appropriate clinical skills for the patient population
