Purchasing ManagerCompensation: $85,000 - $110,000 Base, plus Bonus, Benefits on day 1Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TXWe are looking for a Purchasing Manager that will be responsible for managing and directing all aspects of purchasing/procurement and related functions. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for being hands-on in all day-to-day purchasing activities and serve as the strategic leader for this department of the organization. As a strategic leader, you will also be responsible for collaborating with the Operations Director to design and implement improved processes and/or operational policies.Responsibilities: Purchasing ManagerResponsible for partnering with all business segments to provide subject matter expertise in strategic sourcing, and category management of direct materials to achieve goals and improve performanceManage purchasing efforts for a $200 million dollar companyRun the corporate operations to proactively give strategic advice to other key leaders in the organizationLead, develop and implement strong processes for Strategic Sourcing and Category ManagementPartner with business segment leadership teams to resolve unique challenges and leverage opportunities.Coordinate and align sourcing functional and business segment activities to ensure maximization of efforts related to value creation at the corporate levelDevelop and implement best practices processes and management systems to drive Strategic Sourcing and Supplier relationship managementDevelop benchmarks and balanced scorecards to drive operational performance and leverage to drive continuous improvementRun cooperative sourcing to align supplier costs to market (with appropriately accounting for regional and volume impacts)Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and performanceEnsure the organization is fully staffed and skilled to meet both long terms strategic and close in operational goals as aligned with our client and the business segmentsRequirements: Purchasing ManagerBS/BA Degree (Experience may substitute for Education)4+ years of related purchasing experience
