Job Title Road Mechanic Job Summary Are you seeking an entrepreneurial, empowering workplace that allows you to: Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment in challenging remote locations Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management Work with an incredible team of people in a safety‑focused environment Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and other equipment Conduct diagnostics and make repairs in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime Assist in developing service or operation management career tracks Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty line equipment (e.g., large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (age 21 and CDL may be required in some locations) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficiency with mechanic’s tools of trade Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals Flexibility with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment Spanish or another language may be required based on location needs Physical Demands Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required.
