About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Alexandria, Louisiana, 71301!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Excellent physical assessment and documentation skills Experience caring for acute care stroke patients Strong time management skills Well-developed critical thinking skills Established A.I.D.E.T behaviors Knowledge of core measures and prevention of HACs and HAIs Chemo experience is a plus Description: We are seeking a highly qualified Registered Nurse for a telemetry unit. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care. The unit offers a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Nurse-to-patient ratios are maintained at 6:1 for optimal care. Staffing includes unit secretaries and technicians available on all shifts. All staff members will use advanced equipment and documentation systems. Nurses will be expected to float to other Med-Surg and Tele units as needed. Candidates should possess skills in managing acute care situations effectively. Comprehensive training and development opportunities are provided.
