Overview As a Plant Controller , you will play an important role in the Operations Finance team. You will go beyond numbers—it’s about becoming a strategic partner and a leader within the plant's leadership team. You will shape and influence key financial decisions that drive operational excellence and long-term success. You will report to the Operations Finance Manager and work onsite at our Oak Creek, WI manufacturing plant. Responsibilities Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with plant leadership to develop and implement performance improvement plans that enhance productivity and optimize costs. Your insights guide critical decisions and foster a culture of financial discipline and operational excellence. Leadership in Financial Planning: Lead and coordinate the plant-wide budget process, working across all departments to set achievable productivity and cost‑saving targets. Your leadership ensures that financial goals are met and exceeded. Insightful Analytics: Utilize detailed and forward‑thinking analytics to identify key areas for financial improvement. Provide actionable insights that drive decision‑making and result in tangible cost control and operational efficiency gains. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with Operations, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning to align financial strategies with broader business objectives. Ensure seamless communication and alignment across the plant and with business unit finance. Capital Investment Strategy: Partner with plant leadership to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for capital spending. Lead efforts to prioritize critical projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with the plant’s goals. Post‑Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough post‑completion evaluations of significant investments to confirm that financial and operational objectives are met and lessons learned are integrated into future projects. Inventory Optimization: Lead the optimization of inventory health across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Collaborate with the MRO store room team to ensure inventory accuracy and appropriateness, driving continuous improvement in excess and obsolete inventory management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in cost accounting or financial support within a manufacturing environment. Proven track record of influencing financial results and leading cross‑functional teams. ERP experience required—Oracle preferred.
