Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Danbury, CT. This role focuses on delivering home care services that enhance patients' physical capabilities and daily living independence. Occupational therapists will work with a varied patient caseload including post-orthopedic surgery, heart failure, and COPD patients.

Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist

• Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with physician-established care plans
• Maintain accurate records of client visits, including evaluations and therapy responses
• Educate and counsel patients and families on treatment regimens
• Re-evaluate client progress and modify treatment plans as needed with physician approval
• Supervise care provided by COTA(s) and home health aides as appropriate

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist

• Licensed OT in the state of Connecticut
• Minimum 1 year home care experience
• BLS certification
