Geotechnical Project Manager

Geotechnical Project Manager Location: Mentor, OH (or any Northeast Ohio office). Role Summary: Lead and develop geotechnical teams, provide technical oversight, and drive business development and client growth for high‑profile projects across the region. Responsibilities Lead and develop geotechnical teams, providing technical oversight, mentorship, and resource planning to support multi‑project delivery. Drive business development and client growth, securing new work, building strategic relationships, and positioning geotechnical services across key markets. Oversee operational and financial performance, manage project profitability, ensure QA/QC standards, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives. Lead field investigations, engineering analyses, and provide expert recommendations. Manage geotechnical explorations, soils/materials testing, and lab quality. Partner with clients to deliver exceptional service, plan subsurface investigations, review construction drawings, prepare proposals, and resolve design challenges. Communicate complex engineering concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil/geotechnical engineering (graduate degree preferred). 4+ years of geotechnical engineering experience. Professional Engineering (PE) license, or the ability to obtain one within twelve months. Strong problem‑solving skills and diverse technical expertise. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license. US citizenship or permanent residency. Salary and Benefits Salary Range: The minimum salary for this position is $90,000.00 (negotiable based on experience and qualifications). Final offer depends on location, skills, and certifications.
