Respiratory Therapist - NICU

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience and will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to our NICU patients.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and techniques as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory issues and care options.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.

Schedule:

• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).
• Weekend: Every other weekend.
• Block schedules available.

Holiday Requirements:

If assigned during major holidays, the traveler is expected to work as follows:

• One major holiday: Expected to work.
• Two major holidays: Expected to work both.
• Three major holidays: Expected to work two.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.

Compliance Requirements:

Full compliance is required to ensure timely onboarding. Non-compliance may result in a delay of up to two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Additional Information:

Locals are accepted at the same rate. All candidates must meet facility compliance standards to ensure a smooth start to their assignment.
