About this Position We are looking for a Cardiologist to practice independently while receiving structured operational support for the non‑clinical business functions of their own practice. Physicians own and operate the practice entity; MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services. Job Type Independent Practice Opportunity Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO as required. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform and implementation. Supply chain and vendor coordination. Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination. HR administration, staffing workflows, and compliance support. Revenue cycle management, coding, and payer contracting support. EHR, technology platform, telehealth, and clinical workflow systems. Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
