Unit Information:

Number of Beds - 2 cath lab rooms, 10 pre & post beds, 6 holding beds

Number of Staff: 20

Type of staff: Day Shift RNs and CVT, days with call, 10 hour shifts

Night Shift: Patient Ratios in the lab 1:1, in holding 2:1, in pre/post 4:1

Type of equipment: GE imaging equipment, Volcano, Rotoblator, Angiojet, IABP, Impella, Penumbra, Inari

EMR: Cerner and Merge hemodynamic system

Typical procedures performed on unit(s): Heart Caths and interventions, peripheral caths and interventions, TAVR, Mitra Clip, Watchman, Pacemaker and ICD implants, EP studies and ablations, PFO & ASD closures, Carotid stents

Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. Very dynamic and busy cath lab. We perform all structural heart procedures and have a very advanced Cardiac program with residents and cardiac fellows starting this summer.

Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and Holidays in rotation with Hospital employees.
