About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Englewood, Colorado, 80113!
Job Title: Travel RN - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of current ICU RN experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year current ICU RN experience - BLS certification - ACLS certification - NIHSS certification Description: The unit has 8 beds and a staff of 19. Staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 3 RNs during the day shift, with the same arrangement for the night shift. Patient ratios typically range from 1:2 to 1:3. Equipment used includes GE monitors and Plum IV pumps. Electronic Medical Records system utilized is Meditech. Typical procedures performed on the unit include ICU assessment, ventilator management, fluid resuscitation, wound care, and pain management. The patient population consists of burn patients in various stages, including medical/surgical ICU patients and immediate post-operative care. The ideal candidate is team-oriented with strong communication skills. Experience with the resuscitation and care of critical burn patients ensures effective support during their acute and recovery phases. About Cynet Health
