RN - CICU Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Must have Level I trauma experience. Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, with two attempts allowed. Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings. Men must be clean-shaven for fit testing. Description:This position requires experience in a high-acuity environment.RNs will complete a skills lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.Candidates must demonstrate competence in maintaining sterile fields during skills assessments.Additional educational sessions will include lifts, restraints, and wound care.Common diagnoses include cardiac surgery recovery and various pulmonary and thoracic procedures.High acuity and patient ratios expected.Strong IV skills are necessary as there is no dedicated IV team.The workload includes significant bedside procedures and high patient turnover.Travelers will float to various units based on unit coverage.Cancellation policy allows for a limited number of shifts to be canceled during the assignment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
