RN Unit Manager
We are seeking an experienced and lively Director of Nursing with LONG-TERM CARE EXPERIENCE to join our team!
**Must have 1-YEAR of DON experience**
You will be responsible for:
- Evaluating nurse and medical staff performance
- Maintaining and restoring the health of their patients
- Managing daily treatment schedules
- Enforcing health and safety regulations
- Solving staffing issues and shortages
- Evaluating and adjusting treatment plans based on patient condition
- Ensuring their unit meets federal, state, and company guidelines
- Completing admission and discharge forms
- Delivering hands-on care and medication administration as needed
- Communicating procedural issues with the director and working to correct them
- Acting as a liaison between patients' families and healthcare staff
Qualifications:
- 1-YEAR+ AS A DON
- 3-YEARS+ LONG-TERM CARE
- PCC EXPERIENCE
- Ability to build rapport with RESIDENTS, FACILITY STAFF, AND FAMILIES
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
