Your Day
br p strongThe job responsibilities may include the following:/strong ul liDriving short distances while delivering finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants, or distribution centers, and customers liReporting any incidents encountered on the road to a dispatcher. liFollowing all applicable traffic laws. liInspecting vehicles daily to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations liReporting serious mechanical problems to appropriate personnel. liMaintaining trucks and associated equipment in clean and good working order. liInspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues as well as performing preventative maintenance. liPlanning routes and meeting delivery schedules. liComplying with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. liManeuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions. liCollecting and verifying delivery inst
