Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical

Hours per Shift: 12 hours

Experience: Minimum 2 years in Medical/Surgical, telemetry, or PCU; 1 year of travel nursing experience; 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years

License: State RN license

Certifications: BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have: EPIC EMR/charting experience, experience with patient ratios 1:4-6

Description:
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Medical/Surgical, telemetry, or PCU required.
Must possess EPIC EMR/charting experience.
A minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience is mandatory.
Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or an equivalent facility within the last 5 years.
Experience with patient ratios of 1:4-6 is essential.
Assignment will be made to the Medical/Surgical unit based on experience.
The population served includes Medicine, Surgery, Cardiac, and Client patients.
RNs will be assigned to vacancies that best match their experience.
Expected work schedule is 36 hours per week, consisting of 3 shifts of 12 hours each.
Every other weekend is required.
RNs are expected to float to other equivalent units as needed.
Typical patient ratios are 1:5-6.
