MRI Technologist/Safety Officer

Purpose & Scope Will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the production of Magnetic Resonance Images for diagnostic purposes. The MRI Technologist/Safety Officer is responsible for all MRI safety and will lead all activities designed to support quality, clinical excellence, clinical improvement initiatives, and Patient Safety Goals within the department. The MRI Safety Officer is responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating all activities designed to insure regulatory compliance and continuously maintain accreditation standards. Education Associate’s degree in radiography is required Graduate of an accredited certificate program for radiography is required Experience 3 Years MRI Experience Required 1 Year Safety Preferred Certification/Licensure Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Required MRI Registration Required BLS Certification Required At VHC Health, every role contributes to exceptional care, better outcomes, and stronger communities.
