Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 8-Hour Shifts | 40 Guaranteed Hours Per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions in a PACU setting
• Monitor and assess patient status during the immediate post-operative recovery phase
• Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions and handoffs
• Participate in on-call rotation, including one call shift every 6th to 7th weekend, with a minimum 2-hour callback requirement
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic EMR
• Adhere to all facility infection control and health compliance policies, including masking requirements during flu season if vaccination is declined

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system

• Demonstrated dependability, accountability, and a compassionate, positive approach to patient care
• Ability to manage low-census situations and on-call requirements with flexibility and professionalism
