Requirements

Completion of an approved nurse aide training program, with current certification required from the State of Michigan
Basic Life Support Certification (classes offered at Heartwood Lodge if needed)
Background check including fingerprinting if necessary
Pre-employment health screening and drug screen
Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to providing top notch patient care and services

As a Certified Nurse Aide at Heartwood Lodge you will be:

Promoting hospitality and excellent customer service to our residents and their families
Provide excellent customer service to facility guests and visitors
Perform and document patient care in accordance to resident specific care plan which includes bathing and all activities of daily living
Perform and document nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs, catheter care, weights, turning and repositioning, range of motion, and ambulation
Observe and report significant changes in condition or behavior as appropriate to Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing
