Engineering Technician III

Description SAIC is looking for an Engineering Technician III in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy. Job Duties Include: Provide test and evaluation, troubleshooting, lot acceptance, qualification, engineering analysis, documentation, procedure/process creation, shipment/receipt and vendor coordination of batteries Provide test and evaluation of various battery chemistries, including Li-ion, Lithium Iron Disulfide, Lithium Calcium and Lead Acid Support battery testing that will consist of testing temperature/humidity cycling, pressure/altitude, acceleration, vibration, and mechanical shock Qualifications Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or related field.Additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree Mustbe able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Interim Secret needed to start Must be a U.S. citizen Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to read electrical drawings Must have excellent communication skills Desired Skills: Understanding of technical, voltage, test equipment 5-7 years practical experience in a power source laboratory #J-18808-Ljbffr Saic
