This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with approximately 3–6 years of experience who enjoys developing long-term client relationships, solving complex planning challenges, and advising high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and fiduciaries on estate planning, wealth preservation, and succession matters. The practice offers a broad mix of sophisticated estate planning, trust and estate administration, wealth transfer planning, and related tax matters, along with meaningful client contact and opportunities for continued professional growth. Attorneys in this practice work closely with individuals, families, business owners, family offices, and other trusted advisors to develop customized planning strategies designed to preserve wealth, accomplish personal and business objectives, and navigate complex tax and succession issues. Responsibilities Advise high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and fiduciaries on sophisticated estate planning, wealth transfer, and succession matters. Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, marital property agreements, and other estate planning documents. Assist clients with trust and estate administration, probate proceedings, and fiduciary matters. Support sophisticated estate, gift, generation-skipping transfer, and income tax planning strategies. Collaborate with clients, accountants, financial advisors, and attorneys across related practice areas to develop practical, customized planning solutions. Build trusted client relationships while providing thoughtful, business-oriented legal counsel. Qualifications Approximately 3–6 years of experience representing clients in estate planning, trust and estate administration, wealth transfer planning, and/or related tax matters. Strong drafting, analytical, and client counseling skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong academic credentials and sound professional judgment. Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters while delivering exceptional client service. Licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible for admission.
