Labor And Delivery Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to obstetric and postpartum patients in a hospital setting. Collaborate with medical staff to deliver safe, compassionate, and individualized birthing experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care and monitor vital signs during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and lactation consultants to support patient needs.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and care plans accurately.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Assist in emergency procedures and respond to obstetric complications promptly.

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of current Labor and Delivery experience.
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Proficient in postpartum, mother-baby, and labor & delivery nursing skills.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required.
• Ability to include and communicate requested time off during application process.
