Commercial HVAC Boiler Technician

Snapshot / Role Overview:
We're seeking a Commercial HVAC Boiler Technician in Central Valley, CA to support and grow commercial mechanical operations across the region.

Impact:
- Keep commercial steam and hot water boiler plants safe, efficient, and code compliant.
- Minimize unplanned downtime through quality preventive maintenance.
- Support startup, combustion tuning, and retrofit projects.
- Build trust with facility teams in healthcare, education, and industrial markets.

Responsibilities:
- Service fire-tube, water-tube, and high-pressure steam boilers.
- Perform combustion analysis and tune burners for efficiency and emissions compliance.
- Diagnose and repair feedwater, condensate, and chemical treatment systems.
- Troubleshoot flame safeguards, controls, and BMS integration.
- Conduct annual inspections and prepare equipment for state boiler inspectors.
- Document findings and parts used in the service management system.
- Respond to after-hours emergency calls per on-call rotation.
- Mentor apprentices and reinforce safe lockout/tagout practices.
