For more information on UofL Health, go to Summary and Purpose The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering nursing care to the Patient in the C.V. Laboratory. The R.N. administers medications, observes for complication and intervenes when emergencies occur. The R.N. will scrub to assist the Physician during all procedures (except PTCA) and will run the Code 300. This document defines major job responsibilities and performance expectations and serves as a tool for evaluation performance.
