Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Support Pharmacist to provide essential coverage at outpatient pharmacies located in Peoria and Wheat Ridge, Colorado. This contract-to-hire position offers an engaging role that involves working between two pharmacy locations over a 13+ week assignment, with the potential for permanent placement.

Location:

• Peoria and Wheat Ridge, Colorado

Schedule:

• Pharmacist will split time working between both pharmacy locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and fill prescriptions
• Identify and resolve drug interactions and perform drug utilization reviews
• Dispense controlled substances in strict compliance with regulations
• Manage medication stocking and pharmacy inventory
• Handle incoming pharmacy phone calls professionally
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions
• Provide thorough patient counseling on medications
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the pharmacy manager or director

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Colorado pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of one year experience in outpatient or retail pharmacy settings
• Experience with Epic Willow is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient counseling skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between the Peoria and Wheat Ridge locations
